Professor Takahiko Nishijima is a member of Health and Human Performance Sciences in University of Tsukuba. His recent research area is data science for sport science. He use item response theory and covariance structure analysis to create a criterion to assess sports performance and to analyse sport context.

Nadeshiko Japan Runner UP! FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015

5th July, 2015 Vancouver,Canada

Japanese women national team, former World Cup champion, was runner up in FIFA Women's World Cup 2015 which resulted in 2-5 by USA. Kozue Ando and Saki Kumagai played in the competition. Although Kozue Ando injured in the first game in group league, she was in the bench in the final to support her team mates.
